Lanarkshire is a competitive business location with a strong, diverse business base populated by some of Scotlands leading companies yet it is not immune from the current economic difficulties and businesses need to plan accordingly.
The Chamber of Commerce lunch meeting from 12 noon till 2pm at Hamilton Park Racecourse on 24th November will provide an opportunity for Lanarkshire businesses to evaluate the current state of the Lanarkshire economy and to help the Chamber understand how we can best help Lanarkshire businesses position themselves to make the most of future opportunities.
Our guests at the lunch meeting will be Liz Cameron, Director of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and Ann McKechin MP, the new Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Scotland Office.
During the current economic crisis the Chamber has been in regular contact with politicians to keep them abreast of the issues facing our members and we are delighted that Ann McKechin MP has agreed to come to Lanarkshire to hear the views of our members and feed their concerns directly to the Secretary of State for Scotland and to the UK Government.
Places at the lunch are restricted and will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. To book your place simply e-mail us at [email protected] stating how many place(s) you require and give us the name(s) of your delegate(s). All bookings will be acknowledged.
