DIRECTORIES

 

All Chamber members receive a FREE listing in the Scottish Chambers of Commerce National Directory. The 2008 Directory was published in October 2008 and was distributed to all Chamber members on our database of members as at 31 March. Any member who joined after that date can pick up Directory from the Chamber office. The 2009 Directory will be available in October this year.

 

POLICY AND LOBBYING

 

One of the prime purposes of the Chamber is to lobby Government at all levels on issues that are likely to impact on business competitiveness. The Chamber has regular meetings with MPs, MSPs, MEPs and other key decision makers. In these meetings we aim to ensure that the voice of Lanarkshire's Business Community is clearly heard where it matters.

 

We work closely with the Scottish Chambers of Commerce on policy issues. SCC Policy is summarised in the attached booklet Delivering for Scotland
