Commenting on the House of Lords judgement on the development of the Ravenscraig Site, Douglas Millar, chief executive of Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce said:-

�This judgement brings to an end a long period of uncertainty about the development of Ravenscraig. That is very welcome. We now know that this major project will move forward and bring with it substantial opportunities the people of Lanarkshire. The Chamber now wants to see local businesses getting involved in turning the plans into reality. The Chamber looks forward to working with the developer to ensure that local businesses benefit from this major development project.�
