CREATE is a Council for Voluntary Services which supports approximately 200 voluntary and community organisations within Cambuslang and Rutherglen. Our support is varied and includes advice on funding and charity law, training for committees, office services, community engagement, etc. We are currently financed by the Scottish Government, South Lanarkshire Council, Big Lottery, Voluntary Action Fund and others. At present we have a couple of vacancies on our Board which meets monthly on Tuesday afternoons, and we are specifically looking for members of the community who have good business acumen and can bring this knowledge to our Board.
