Making money in publishing is rare. A best-seller is usually followed by an expensive flop. Scott Simpson experienced many business challenges during his time in publishing, but he managed to find a way to turn things around and eventually produced significant success.

Scott established Children's Choice Publications, and sold over 4 million copies of Creepers the children�s fiction series. He then sold the publishing rights in eleven countries, before exiting the business in 2003.

Two years later Scott launched Voltage Marketing Group, and now clients include National Australia Group, Kwik Fit, Clerical Medical, Odeon Cinemas, Historic Scotland, Optical Express. His expertise lies in bringing commercial understanding together with brand and marketing strategy to achieve corporate objectives.

During his presentation, Scott Simpson will share with you some of the practical lessons that have helped him run a successful business in two very different sectors.
